Trump tweet: Stoking the fire 🔥

With Sunday being reasonably worry-free until the Vegas shootings later at night, President Trump took the time to defend his administration on twitter, while also retweeting a supporter's tweet 🐦 about standing for the national anthem, and of course, talking about the North Korean leader again.

🐦 We have done a great job with the almost impossible situation in Puerto Rico. Outside of the Fake News or politically motivated ingrates, people are now starting to recognize the amazing work that has been done by FEMA and our great Military. All buildings now inspected for safety. Thank you to the Governor of P.R. and to all of those who are working so closely with our First Responders. Fantastic job!

Here he mocks North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and said Secretary of State Rex Tillerson should not bother trying to negotiate with him in an effort to stop the country's development of nuclear weapons‼️ Tillerson, speaking at a press conference in Beijing, said the US made it clear through its direct channels to North Korea that it was seeking peace through talks. "We've made it clear that we hope to resolve this through talks," Tillerson said.

"I think the most immediate action that we need is to calm things down," Tillerson added. "They're a little overheated right now, and I think we need to calm them down first." Asked about Trump's own rhetoric, Tillerson said the entire situation was "overheated."

🐦 Being nice to Rocket Man hasn't worked in 25 years, why would it work now? Clinton failed, Bush failed, and Obama failed. I won't fail.

Probably not what Tillerson had in mind when he was giving that press conference.
