Trump tweet: Targeting 🎯 the frenemy! πŸ“°

It looks like the President 🇺🇸 woke on the wrong side of the bed this week, with him constantly attacking the media for what they did and didn't do. It's almost as if he can't live with or without them❗

🐦 The Fake News is at it again, this time trying to hurt one of the finest people I know, General John Kelly, by saying he will soon be.....fired. This story is totally made up by the dishonest media. The Chief is doing a FANTASTIC job for me and, more importantly, for the USA!

A Vanity Fair report 📖 published on Monday called Kelly and Trump’s relationship “irreparable,” and a Washington Post 📰 article the same day cited sources in the president’s “inner circle” as floating potential replacements for the chief of staff should the dynamic in the West Wing become “unsustainable.” Neither report said that Kelly’s departure is on the horizon.

🐦 Stock Market has increased by 5.2 Trillion dollars since the election on November 8th, a 25% increase. Lowest unemployment in 16 years and.if Congress gives us the massive tax cuts (and reform) I am asking for, those numbers will grow by leaps and bounds. #MAGA

Without a major legislative achievement 💪 to hang his hat on, Trump and his backers have often pointed to the success of the stock market 📈 in his presidency’s opening months as evidence that his policies, including proposed tax reform and the repeal of dozens of government regulations, have strengthened the economy. Trump has claimed credit for generally improving economic indicators even though many were already trending upwards under the administration of his predecessor, Barack Obama.

🐦 It would be really nice if the Fake News Media would report the virtually unprecedented Stock Market growth since the election.Need tax cuts

Trump wants both credit for the booming markets 👍 and tax cuts, and that the former suggests less need for the latter doesn’t matter. In the past, he’s talked generally about the need to create jobs and so on, even while acknowledging that the markets are doing well; here, constrained by the character limit of Twitter 🐦, he just throws it all in together. Economy great. Need tax cuts to make the economy great. Okay.

🐦 The Democrats want MASSIVE tax increases & soft, crime producing borders. The Republicans want the biggest tax cut in history & the WALL!

🐦 It is about time that Roger Goodell of the NFL is finally demanding that all players STAND for our great National Anthem-RESPECT OUR COUNTRY

The NFL disputed that characterization as well as reports along those lines. “Commentary this morning about the Commissioner’s position on the Anthem is not accurate. As we said yesterday, there will be a discussion of these issues at the owners meeting next week,” NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said in an email ✉ to The Post. “The NFL is doing the hard work of trying to move from protest to progress, working to bring people together. Commissioner Goodell spent yesterday with Miami Dolphins players, law enforcement and community leaders witnessing first-hand the outstanding work our players and clubs are doing to strengthen their communities. Players from around the league will be in New York next week to meet with owners to continue our work together.”

🐦 Fake NBCNews made up a story that I wanted a "tenfold" increase in our U.S. nuclear arsenal. Pure fiction, made up to demean. NBC = CNN!.

Trump convened a meeting 🤝 Tuesday with his national security team in which they discussed “a range of options to respond to any form of North Korean aggression or, if necessary, to prevent North Korea from threatening the U.S. and its allies with nuclear weapons,” according to the White House. The president’s comments during the Pentagon meeting in July came in response to a chart shown on the history of the U.S. and Russia’s nuclear capabilities that showed America’s stockpile at its peak in the late 1960s, the officials said. Some officials present said they did not take Trump’s desire for more nuclear weapons to be literally instructing the military to increase the actual numbers. But his comments raised questions ❓ about his familiarity with the nuclear posture and other issues, officials said. Two officials present said that at multiple points in the discussion, the president expressed a desire not just for more nuclear weapons, but for additional U.S. troops and military equipment.

🐦 With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!

Trump and his supporters have repeatedly used the term “fake news” to cast doubt on critical media reports about his administration, often without providing any evidence to support their case that the reports untrue. Any move to challenge media companies’ licenses, however, would likely face significant hurdles.
