AI nano-machines injected into humans will REPAIR bodies from the inside

The microtechnology, potentially available in just 20 years, would be injected into people to fix bones, muscles and cells.

That could include spotting abnormalities in the body’s cells like cancer and ridding them from the body.

The incredible claim was made by senior IBM innovator John McNamara in evidence to the House of Lords Artificial Intelligence Committee.

He suggested scientists could even find a way to “meld” humans and machines together into a cyborg-style being.

He said: “We may see AI nano-machines being injected into our bodies. “These will provide huge medical benefits, such as being able to repair damage to cells, muscles and bones – perhaps even augment them.

He said, “Using this technology, embedded in ourselves and in our surroundings, we will begin to be able to control our environment with thought and gestures alone.”
