Arsenal's Iwobi sends Nigeria to Russia 2018 with win over Zambia

Nigeria is through to 2018 World Cup finals after a win against the Chipolopolo at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

Alex Iwobi’s second half goal guaranteed Nigeria’s place at the 2018 World Cup, the Arsenal forward earned the host a 1-0 win against Zambia on Saturday.

Gernot Rohr’s men were almost assured of their place in Russia owing to their three-point lead and superior goals difference.

Against the Zambia they confirmed their spot, thanks to Iwobi's late impact.
