Marseille Knife-Terrorist 🔫Shot Dead, 2⃣ Women Killed

Soldiers in France have shot a man dead at Gare de Marseille-Saint-Charles station in Marseille after two people died in a stabbing in what police sources called a "likely terrorist act".

More victims are said to be seriously hurt after the rampaging knifeman attacked. A Reuters police source said that he screamed “Allahu Akbar” meaning God is great, as he stabbed two women.

Police have said it is "likely" to be a terror attack. The French prosecutor has confirmed the attack, and both deaths, at the Saint Charles station as he makes his way to the area.

Police have described it as an "ongoing" incident and asked people to avoid the area which has now been evacuated.

The mayor of Marseille reportedly said the "number of victims could have been higher" as the army swooped on the station.
