'Baahubali Brain Surgery'- Here's How the Film⚔ Saved a Life

‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ has been a film like no other, toppling over records and leaving no stone unturned in becoming one of the biggest success stories of India.

And now, the film has helped to save a life too!

When 43-year-old nurse Vinaya Kumari from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, had to go under the knife, in an elaborate surgery to treat her brain tumour, it was imperative that she stay conscious through the procedure. So doctors found an ingenious way to do just that! They played her ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ while they operated on her.

“In this surgery it was important for the patient to stay conscious and the film managed to do exactly that. The patient did not panic through the process, in fact, she was enjoying and humming the songs,” neurosurgeon Dr Srinivas revealed. He added that the doctors have nicknamed this the ‘Baahubali brain surgery’!

The surgery was a success, and the patient Vinaya Kumari came out beaming. “The surgery lasted for about an hour and a half, but I hoped it would go on a bit longer so that I could see the entire film,” she said!
