Emmy Awards🏆: Priyanka Is Called Priyanka 'Chopa' & Twitter🐦 Is Outraged

Priyanka’s fans on Twitter got riled up by a mispronunciation of their favourite actor’s name during the 69th Emmy Awards on Monday. The actor, who presented an award during the ceremony, was called ‘ Priyanka Chopa’ by the announcer.

‘And now the Emmy-nominated star producer of Blackish, Anthony Anderson and from Quantico, Priyanka Chopa,’ the announcer🎙 appeared to have said as Priyanka walked on stage with Anthony to present the Outstanding Variety Talk Series award to John Oliver📺.

While she seemed unfazed by the goof up, and presented the award in confidence, her fans on Twitter weren’t so forgiving.

“Did this dude just call her ‘Priyanka Chopa’? wtf,’ a fan wrote on Twitter. “The guy said Priyanka Chopa and literally everyone in my family went “Priyanka Chopa!!,” wrote another.
