First, Primark released the Beauty and the Beast Chip mug, then it was the £3 Harry Potter bunting shortly followed by an entire range of HP-inspired gear.

But the latest character item to hit the retail giant’s purse-friendly shelves might just be the most highly-anticipated yet. Say hello to 'Minnie Mouse' heels – and yes, they’re covered ear to toe in glitter.

Though the heels make no direct reference to Miss Mouse, Disney aficionados and hopeless romantics can’t help but compare the bow-shaped back to Minnie’s iconic ears.
