Lade– Singer of "If" cover wins Unilorin idol, bags indomie ambassador

A student of faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, Oyetundun Omolade, has emerged winner of University of Ilorin Idol season 3.


Omolade emerged first position out of five contestants that broke into the finals, after three contestants were evicted in the semifinal.


According to some audience, Omolade was their best contestant and she deserved the biggest price of the night.


According to an audience tweet, Lade won the competition the moment she got the form.


Moji bagged 5th position, the 4th position was Lara, Ayonitemi from department of Educational technology emerged second runner and got a sum of #20,000 with a pack of indomie, Lola a student from Political Science emerged 1st runner up and given #30,000 and a pack of indomie, while Lade from the department of Mass Communication came first position, she got #50, 000, emerged indomie ambassador, three carton of indomie, a beat for her song and lots more.


For the final, all contestants were asked to compose a song, Ayonitemi sang "I will keep on for you," Lola composed a song titled "Molue," while the singer of "If" cover, Lade, sang a song titled, "Oluwa is involved" for the final round.


Dignitaries present at the event were, sub-dean students affairs unit, Dr. Alex, president of the student union, Reedof, Vice President, Harmony, PRO, MYT and other Student Union officials.


Unilorin idol season 3 was sponsored by Student Union, indomie and other sponsors.
