Barring any last minute cancellations, President Muhammadu Buhari will, on September 16, leave Abuja for New york take part at the 72nd High-Level session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
The President is scheduled to address the world body on Tuesday, 19 September.
A source at the Nigeria House in New York told SaharaReportes that Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, Nigeria’s Foreign Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, and members of a presidential advance team are already in New York to put finishing touches to the arrangements being made by the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations.
During his five-day stay in New York, President Buhari and the Nigerian delegation will be accommodated at One Millennium Plaza Hotel on First Avenue in Manhattan.
