Ghana puts four past Nigeria in WAFU finals

The Black Stars are new champions of Wafu Cup after defeating the Super Eagles 4-1 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday to win the ultimate in West Africa football.

Ghana have emerged winners of the 2017 Wafu Cup of Nations hosted on home soil.

The Black Stars took a sweet revenge on Nigeria who walked off with a 2-0 victory when both sided clashed earlier in the group stage of the competition.

This time, Ghana claimed a convincing 4-1 win over the Super Eagles at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday to lift the trophy, which has a cash prize of $100,000 attached to it.
