Trump tweet: A bit under the weather ⛅️

It's been a challenging 💪couple of weeks for the US 🇺🇸 with Hurricane Irma following closely behind Hurricane Harvey️ and the President has been up on his toes 👍 in terms to security and emergency provisions for affected areas. And in the eye of all these storms, he still found time to vent out against his party about the 60-vote filibuster‼️

Trump on Thursday said he and Kuwaiti emir Sheikh Sabah could resolve the Qatar crisis and offered direct US 🇺🇸 mediation in the four month dispute "right here in the White House."

The five living former United States presidents 💪 joined forces on Thursday to start a hurricane recovery effort to raise money for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. The campaign, One America Appeal, began with a public service announcement 🔊 featuring the presidents during the first N.F.L. game of the season on Thursday night. “People are hurting down here,” former President George W. Bush, who lives in Dallas, said in the video, “but as one Texan put it, ‘We’ve got more love in Texas than water.’”

Hurricane Irma is barrelling toward the southern Bahamas on a course toward southern Florida, with extremely dangerous winds of 150mph (250kph). The storm’s eye doubled in size overnight, and the hurricane’s width is larger than the state of Florida‼️

🐦 Our incredible U.S. Coast Guard saved more than 15,000 lives last week with Harvey. Irma could be even tougher. We love our Coast Guard!

🐦 Republicans, sorry, but I've been hearing about Repeal & Replace for 7 years, didn't happen! Even worse, the Senate Filibuster Rule will....never allow the Republicans to pass even great legislation. 8 Dems control - will rarely get 60 (vs. 51) votes. It is a Repub Death Wish!

President Trump admitted Friday that the 60-vote filibuster in the Senate is preventing Republican lawmakers from enacting their conservative agenda.

Trump blasted  members of his own party on Twitter for not passing a plan to repeal and replace Obamacare after campaigning on that promise for seven years. He went on to say that the filibuster in the Senate is the GOP's main obstacle.

🐦 Republicans must start the Tax Reform/Tax Cut legislation ASAP. Don't wait until the end of September. Needed now more than ever. Hurry!
