Trump tweet: Business 🐦 as usual

There was much excitement on Sunday after North Korea 🇰🇵 conducted its sixth nuclear missile 🚀 test, sending Trump spiralling into rage. He considered many options following the test, like cutting ties with all nations doing trade with North Korea (which is probably more self destructive than strategic) and then just decided to give its neighbours more weapons‼️ Here's more.

🐦 So much SPIRIT in LA! Thank you to all of our HEREOS who saved many lives. An honor to spend time w/ NationalGuard, LEOs & the CajunNavy!

This of course, is a video 📹 of the crowd welcoming the President in Louisiana last weekend. We all know how much the President loves a good crowd!

🐦 North Korea has conducted a major Nuclear Test. Their words and actions continue to be very hostile and dangerous to the United States. North Korea is a rogue nation which has become a great threat and embarrassment to China, which is trying to help but with little success.

On Sunday morning, an tremor measuring 6.3 on the richter scale brought to notice that North Korea 🇰🇵 had conducted their 6th nuclear missile test! And this has been the strongest one yet.

🐦 South Korea is finding, as I have told them, that their talk of appeasement with North Korea will not work, they only understand one thing!

Trump has lashed out pretty hard at South Korea for encouraging talks of appeasement with the North. He warned that talking wouldn't solve anything.

🐦 I will be meeting General Kelly, General Mattis and other military leaders at the White House to discuss North Korea. Thank you.

US Defense Secretary James Mattis warned ⚠️ of "a massive military response" to any threat from North Korea against the United States or its allies in a statement outside the White House after a meeting with President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and top national security advisers Sunday. Mattis said Trump wanted to be briefed on each of the "many military options" for dealing with the North Korean nuclear threat. "Our commitment among the allies are ironclad," Mattis said.

"Any threat to the United States or its territories, including Guam, or our allies will be met with a massive military response, a response both effective and overwhelming."

🐦 The United States is considering, in addition to other options, stopping all trade with any country doing business with North Korea.

In a moment of fury, Trump wrote an apocalyptic tweet that could cause a world recession and more devastating consequences. North Korea may be isolated but it still trades with more than 100 nations, including Russia, India and most importantly China. Trump was suggesting that the U.S. could stop trading with all of them‼️ His tweet was widely regarded as a thinly veiled threat aimed at coercing China to do more to squeeze North Korea.

Around 90 percent of Pyongyang's trade is with Beijing and Trump has often said the Chinese should take more steps to rein in Kim Jong Un's nuclear ambitions.

🐦 Big week coming up!

🐦 Congress, get ready to do your job - DACA

The Trump administration on Tuesday announced the end of DACA -- a program that had protected nearly 800,000 young undocumented immigrants brought to the US as children from deportation.

The Department of Homeland Security will stop processing any new applications for the program as of Tuesday and rescinded the Obama administration policy, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

🐦 I am allowing Japan & South Korea to buy a substantially increased amount of highly sophisticated military equipment from the United States.

This tweet comes at a time when the President and his allies look for ways ❓ to counter the threat from North Korea.

Amid mounting tension over North Korea aggressiveness, and the US’s 🇺🇸 bellicose rhetoric and sabre-rattling, Trump said he was ready to increase the amount of military hardware in the region - presumably as a bid to deter Pyongyang.
