Federer Wins 8th Wimbledon TItle🏆

Roger Federer wins eighth Wimbledon  grand-slam in front of fans, without losing a set.

The 35-year-old was at his best in a 6-3, 6-1, 6-4 win on a glorious afternoon at the SW19, defeating his challenger Marin Cilic who broke down in tears midway through the match.

His forehands were crisp and the single-handed backhands, as always, a thing of beauty.

Cilic looked out of his depth, as Federer won the first set and stormed through the second, by which time Cilic had mentally retired from the game.

Though the Croat won four games in the final set, there was never any danger of him mounting a comeback, as Federer won his 19th Grand Slam title without dropping a set.
