Lagos Govt Demolishes Shanties In Obalende

The Lagos State government commenced the demolition of illegal structure and shanties around the Obalende area of the state.

A task force team that stormed the area, said prior warnings including a 48-hour notice had been issued to the occupants. Some occupants, however, claimed that the notice was too short.
