Music videos can’t resist revisiting the legend of Bonnie and Clyde.

Serge Gainsbourg, Brigitte Bardot, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z have all drawn on the allure of outlaw coupledom in the name of music.

The latest pairing to take on the idea is Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar, who join forces in the Dave Meyers–directed video for “Loyalty."

While thrill-seeking couples are a popular trope, few can compete with Lamar and Rihanna on the fashion front.

Showing up in a Djula diamond choker, fur coat, and an affordable House Of CB lace-up dress that leaves little to the imagination, Rihanna is the ultimate femme fatale.

She provides a fearless fashion moment as she clings to Lamar’s arm, hanging over a CGI version of Chicago in a black minidress.

The rapper’s character is no slouch in the wardrobe department either. Switching from dapper tailored suits, complete with a red rose on his lapel, to mesh shirts worn with thick silver chains and tracksuit bottoms, Lamar holds his own next to one of the best-dressed women on the planet.
