Benue Gov promises to support Buhari second term in office

Governor of Benue state, Samuel Orton, has explained why he is supporting President Buhari for a second term in office.

Ortom said the President deserves another term in office because of his resolve to fight corruption, adding that Buhari is a man of integrity.

The Governor also described those calling on the President not to run for a second term because of his health, as enemies of Nigeria, Vanguard reports.

Ortom said “If you recall, we in Benue were the first in the country to initiate prayers for President Muhammadu Buhari when he took ill early in the year.

 “We thank God that he is back on his feet and getting better and stronger by the day.”

No automatic ticket for Buhari

Meanwhile, political observers posit that Buhari might have to work hard to secure the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket.

You will recall that the APC National leader,Bola Tinubu said recently, that there is no automatic ticket for President Muhammadu Buhari.
