Report From UCJ, Unilorin Screening Exercise

The Union of campus journalist, university of Ilorin chapter held her screening exercise for aspiring members on Saturday 9th Dec. 2017.

The exercise, is a part of her annual activities conducted for students who are willing to partake in journalistic activities in the university, and allowed aspiring members obtain forms within 10days.

The first session of the screening exercise commenced at exactly 10:27am, and it lasted for 50mins.

After the first session, the Vice President Administration, Shittu Aishat, asked interested aspirants to give their opinion on the exercise.

Some complained they were not added to the group, some who were added complained about their inability to download the Union app while some said they have never heard of UCJ while complaining about the questions asked concerning the activities of the union.

At 11:50am, the oral screening for the second session commenced. In this aspect, aspirants were tested on their intelligence, patience and humility.

There were two panels  to make the exercise process faster. Despite that, some aspirants left without participating in the oral interview. The session ended at exactly 5:42.
