Sub-dean expresses concern over students' use of social media

The Sub-dean Students Affairs Unit, Dr M.A. Akanmu, has expressed his concerns towards the rate at which students post pictures on the happenings on campus on social media. 

In his words, he said, "The negative use of social media is alarming. I am not happy. You see, the matter will be over but the damage cannot be erased.  It is not peculiar to unilorin for God's sake. I am disturbed with the social media.  Like the trailer which conveyed some of our students currently trending online, they were not forced to enter it."

He said this while settling a dispute between a driver and some students, in university on issues concerning the cost of transportation.
