Entrepreneurship is the process of designing, launching and running a new business which is often starts as a small business and the people who create these businesses are known as entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are dream chasers; they perceive new business opportunities, pursue it  and eventually come out with credible innovations.

The importance of entrepreneurship cannot be overemphasized in the present Nigeria Economy. It is as crucial as the most important thing in the country. Entrepreneurship is a tremendous force that has a great impact on the growth, recovery and societal progress of the nation.

Therefore, there is need for us to embrace entrepreneurship in the face of the serious and growing threat of graduate unemployment.

The potential for employment generation appears to be very high with entrepreneurship as this is visible by the virtue of the small and medium scale enterprises.

In addition, entrepreneurship will help curb the menace overdependence on foreign goods which has been hindering the progress of the country.

Entrepreneurship can also serve as one of the ways to strengthen our love as "One Nigerian". If different state's speciality is patronized by its fellow Nigerian at the expense of its foreign counterpart this will strengthen the relationship between Nigerians and simultaneously lead to sociocultural, economic and unity development in our dear country.

Entrepreneurship however requires high level of creativity. Creativity and innovation is the corner stone of successful business enterprise. Individuals should involve in skills/business of value in a way that will add value to the development of the Nigerian society.
