The Fake Media award goes to...

President Trump's biggest feat 👏 in the last 24 hours is introducing his much anticipated Fake News awards, apart from which he continues his usual melodrama about the democrats trying to shutdown the government, and how much his tax law is helping the country❗

🐦 Today, we witnessed an incredible moment in history – the presentation of Congress’ highest civilian honor to our friend, and true AMERICAN HERO, Bob Dole. CongressionalGoldMedal

🐦 I promised that my policies would allow companies like Apple to bring massive amounts of money back to the United States. Great to see Apple follow through as a result of TAX CUTS. Huge win for American workers and the USA!

Apple, which had long deferred paying taxes on its foreign earnings and had become synonymous with hoarding money overseas, unveiled plans on Wednesday that would bring back the vast majority of the $252 billion in cash that it held abroad and said it would make a sizable investment in the United States. With the moves, Apple took advantage of the new tax code that President Trump signed into law last month. A provision allows for a one-time repatriation of corporate cash held abroad at a lower tax rate than what would have been paid under the previous tax plan. Apple, which has 94 percent of its total cash of $269 billion outside the United States, said it would make a one-time tax payment of $38 billion on the repatriated cash. For years, Apple had said it would not bring its foreign earnings back to the United States until the corporate tax code changed, because such a move would be too costly. Now Apple’s bet to hold back on paying such taxes is reaping rewards under the Trump administration.

🐦 During the campaign, I promised to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN by bringing businesses and jobs back to our country. I am very proud to see companies like Chrysler moving operations from Mexico to Michigan where there are so many great American workers!

And again, and again

🐦 Main Street is BACK! Strongest Holiday Sales bump since the Great Recession -- beating forecasts by BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

Shoppers spent a record amount online during the holiday season. That's according to Adobe Analytics, which reports that online shopping during the holiday season reached $108.2 billion, up almost 15 percent from $94.4 billion the year before.

🐦 And the FAKE NEWS winners are...

President Trump revealed the winners of his self-proclaimed ‘Fake News’ awards Wednesday night with The New York Times topping the list. CNN also came out as a “winner,” making the list four times. The list, published on GOP.com, noted that “studies have shown that over 90 percent of the media’s coverage of President Trump is negative.” It went on to call 2017 “a year of unrelenting bias, unfair news coverage and even downright fake news.”

🐦 Despite some very corrupt and dishonest media coverage, there are many great reporters I respect and lots of GOOD NEWS for the American people to be proud of!

Of course

🐦 ISIS is in retreat, our economy is booming, investments and jobs are pouring back into the country, and so much more! Together there is nothing we can’t overcome--even a very biased media. We ARE Making America Great Again!

🐦 The Wall is the Wall, it has never changed or evolved from the first day I conceived of it. Parts will be, of necessity, see through and it was never intended to be built in areas where there is natural protection such as mountains, wastelands or tough rivers or water. The Wall will be paid for, directly or indirectly, or through longer term reimbursement, by Mexico, which has a ridiculous $71 billion dollar trade surplus with the U.S. The $20 billion dollar Wall is “peanuts” compared to what Mexico makes from the U.S. NAFTA is a bad joke!

President Donald Trump insisted Thursday that he has remained consistent in his plans for a border wall, a day after his chief of staff, John Kelly, told Fox News he has "changed his attitude" on it. Trump was fuming after Kelly's Fox News interview, a source familiar with the matter told CNN, adding that the President "hated" the comments. Appearing on Fox News Wednesday evening, Kelly pointed to the border wall as an example of how the President has adjusted his views after being briefed by experts.

🐦 Will be going to Pennsylvania today in order to give my total support to RICK SACCONE, running for Congress in a Special Election (March 13). Rick is a great guy. We need more Republicans to continue our already successful agenda!

🐦 We need the Wall for the safety and security of our country. We need the Wall to help stop the massive inflow of drugs from Mexico, now rated the number one most dangerous country in the world. If there is no Wall, there is no Deal!

The tweetstorm has put Trump at odds with Kelly, his top aide, who was in sensitive negotiations with Capitol Hill lawmakers to try to avert the shutdown.

🐦 CHIP should be part of a long term solution, not a 30 Day, or short term, extension!

President Donald Trump said Thursday the Children’s Health Insurance Program should be part of a "long term solution," creating confusion around the efforts to prevent a government shutdown. Funding for the program lapsed as of Sept. 30, 2017. House Republicans' plan to keep the government funded until Feb. 16 includes a six-year extension of the popular program. The White House later clarified that while the president wants a longer term spending deal, he supports the stop-gap measure under consideration in the House.

🐦 A government shutdown will be devastating to our military...something the Dems care very little about!

In fact, a government shutdown would likely have little impact on the military. If the government fails to fund the government, a partial shutdown would begin on Saturday, which would require many federal workers to be furloughed and various offices closed. But for members of the military, it would be business as usual. That's because the government exempts federal employees whose job is considered essential to national security, which includes not only the military, but border patrol agents, doctors, and TSA screeners, among others.
