Grand Opening of KIBIS EATERY in UNILORIN.

A milestone was recorded yesterday 12th July, in the Better by Far university, as KIBIS EATERY had its grand opening.

The program had in attendance, dignitaries both from town and gown. Her Excellency, the First Lady of Kwara State, Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed, the Vice Chancellor of UNILORIN, ably represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Technology and Innovation, Prof.  Gabriel Olatunji, the Student Union President (Unilorin) Mr Shobowale David Olawale, the Bursar, ably represented by Deputy Bursar, Mrs Okonje and other reputable personalities were all present.

The program started with a brief speech by the Director of the eatery, Mrs. Robins Sanni, the event of which, she dedicated to God. This was followed by words of encouragement from Her Excellency, Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed.

A Memorandum of Understanding was entered into between Unilorin and the eatery. The DVC (RTI), Prof. Gabriel Olatunji, also had some words of encouragement for the management of KIBIS.

The Student Union President who was also privileged to speak, congratulated the Director on her achievement. He promised partnership with the Student Union, and pleaded that the eatery be friendly to students and be ready to accommodate them, as students of the University of Ilorin are known for their good conducts and mannerism.

A toast was raised spelling out KIBIS,Followed by vote of thanks done by the Husband of the Director Mr Adebayo Sanni.

The program came to a close with a benediction delivered by Rev. Dr. Taiye Adeol.
