300 stolen cows recover from Niger


The police in Niger State have intercepted a gang of suspected cattle rustlers terrorising Ringa Village in the Rafi Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that the hoodlums attacked one Alhaji Bello Sani and Alhaji Adamu Bello and rustled 300 cows from them.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, told our correspondent that the Divisional Police Officer and his team swung into action, trailed the hoodlums into Baga-Baga Forest of Allawa and Kwasa-Kwasa Forest of Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State.

The spokesman said, “We cannot allow hoodlums to take over the state. We will continue to deal with them ruthlessly until they change, we will not give them the least opportunity to carry out their heinous activities in the state
