​🇩🇪 Merkel feels 🇺🇸 US stance on climate change 'regretable'​

German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, feels US President's position on climate change, is "regrettable".

Angela Merkel said this in her closing remarks, at the G20 summit where world leaders appeared to have struck a deal on international trade policies.

In Hamburg, Merkel said the two-day summit achieved "good results in some areas", citing the agreement on trade as an example.

The trade deal struck by the US administration and international partners endorsed open markets, but acknowledged that, countries have a right to put up barriers to block unfair practices.
