Oba (Dr.) Micheal Odunayo Ajayi to Speak at SOC Public Lecture, UNILORIN.

The Nigerian Sociological and Anthropological Students' Association, University of Ilorin, will today, 6th July, hold its annual public lecture themed, 'The Role of Traditional Institution in Tackling Falling Moral Standard in the Nigerian Society.'

The fascinating thing about this year's annual public lecture is the fact that the guest speaker, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Micheal Odunayo Ajayi, the Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesha kingdom, State of Osun, graduated from the department of Sociology (Unilorin) in 1989.

The event will commence by 10:00am at the Multipurpose Hall, University of Ilorin. However, invited guests are required to be seated by 9:30am before takeoff time.

Among the eminent personalities to grace the auspicious occasion include: Prof. Abdulganiyu Ambali, OON, Vice Chancellor, University of ILORIN; Prof. B. Salawu
Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ilorin; Prof. N. Yusuf,
Head, Department of Sociology, University of Ilorin; Chairperson (LOC), Dr. (Mrs) D.S. Adekeye,
Department of Sociology, University of Ilorin among others.
