UNILORIN TO BREAK WORLD RECORD

OUniversity of Ilorin is on the verge of breaking a Guinness World Record, on 5th, June 2017.

University of Ilorin Student Union, in conjunction with Making History Naija (MHN), powered by Pepsi, is set to have broken the world record of the largest number of people to open a can drink at once, anywhere in the world.

The current record, for opening can drinks simultaneously, is held by Career Consulting Co. Ltd. and was achieved by 1,149 people at Urayasu, Japan on the 24th of January 2016.

The event which took place at the University Stadium, saw all logistics put in place for 3000 students. The event is said to be credible and properly conducted, and as such has met up with Guinness World Record programme.

The event was from 12pm and it lasted 4 hours. It was fun filling and entertaining, everyone was perceived to have enjoyed themselves.
