Buhari Repeals First FEC Meeting After Return

A statement from the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, says the President will, however, receive the report of the committee investigating allegations against the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayo Oke.

No reason was given for the cancellation of the FEC meeting. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who was the Acting President while he was away had presided over the weekly meeting in his absence.
