Buhari Writes National Assembly Before Resumption


President Muhammadu Buhari, officially wrote to the National Assembly notifying them of his resumption of duties starting from today, Monday, August 21st, 2017.

The letter claimed that President Buhari had returned to duties from a "medical follow-up" in London.

President Buhari was absent from duties for at least 103 days prompting protests led by popular musician Charles Oputa aka "Charly Boy" asking him to resume or resign. In today's letter, the President made no mention of his illness nor was any reference made as to whether he has fully recovered or not.
