US 🇺🇸 military warns ⚠️ it can down drones flying ✈️ over bases

The Pentagon, issued new guidelines 📋 giving the military the go-ahead ✅ to down 💣 drones flying ✈️ near or over select US 🇺🇸 military bases.

"These specific guidelines 📋 for counter UAS actions in the homeland will remain classified, but, broadly speaking, they allow us to do a range of things," he said using the military's preferred acronym for unmanned aerial systems.

But because the rules of engagement are classified, it will be incumbent upon the individual bases to explain 🔊 to local communities how far away civilian drone operators must stay if they want to avoid 🚫 having their drones downed by the military.
