Lorde‪ Style Standout at Outside Lands Festival 2017 with Her Lacy, Gothic Gown‬

Lorde‪’s Outside Lands set was a festival highlight according to many (and featured a surprise Paul Simon cover with Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff), but her elegant and intricate black Elie Saab dress threatened to steal the show from the songs off her newly released album, Melodrama.

In a sheer, ruched, long-sleeved black dress, the pleated skirt of which just skimmed her practical Adidas sneakers, Lorde looked fit for the red carpet rather than the festival grounds.

She has been pulling off more polished outfits as of late, sporting loose-fitting suits as often as she does her go-to black dresses, but her gown at Outside Lands proves that there’s still plenty of melodrama left in that trusty formula. ‬
