The Chief Edwin Clark-led Pan Niger Delta Forum, withdrew the November 1 ultimatum it gave the Federal Government to implement its 16-point agenda.
Clark disclosed this while speaking to State House correspondents at the end of a meeting member of the forum had with the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Describing the meeting as excellent, Clark said discussions at the meeting were honest, truthful and forthright.
He said, “No more ultimatum. We agreed on many things. They came with their own address. The ministers all spoke and presented their cases and at the end, the Acting President rounded it up.
“The message back home is that we had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Acting President, we discussed our 16-point agenda and government’s 20-point agenda and we are all satisfied. We all agreed that everyone should maintain peace.
