Trump Tweet: A little bit of a break

Wednesday and Thursday morning weren't very active days for the president, who was a little laid back on twitter, only jumping up to tell everyone that he didn't really ask for thanks from the UCLA basketball players and they should actually be thanking President Xi.

🐦 Why are Democrats fighting massive tax cuts for the middle class and business (jobs)? The reason: Obstruction and Delay!

Democrats have opposed the Republican tax-cutting effort, which they say greatly benefits the country's wealthiest taxpayers, without enough help for people who earn way less money. Virtually every U.S. 🇺🇸 taxpayer would be affected by the changes being considered, but the overhaul is in such a state of flux in Congress that individuals have been hard-pressed to determine whether they would get a tax cut or not.

🐦 Big vote tomorrow in the House. Tax cuts are getting close!

🐦 To the three UCLA basketball players I say: You're welcome, go out and give a big Thank You to President Xi Jinping of China who made your release possible and, HAVE A GREAT LIFE! Be careful, there are many pitfalls on the long and winding road of life!

LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley spoke at a news conference, apologizing and admitting to stealing. Each player also pointedly thanked Trump for securing their release. Notice the wizened advice from the President!

🐦 China is sending an Envoy and Delegation to North Korea - A big move, we'll see what happens!

The tweet comes it was reported that the head of China’s ruling Communist Party’s International Department, Song Tao, will visit North Korea to report the outcomes of the party's congress earlier this month. Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said the visit is unrelated to Trump's meeting with President Xi Jinping last week, and said it was "common practice" for China and North Korea to exchange views.

“The purpose of this visit is to brief about the party congress and exchange views on issues of common interest and bilateral interest,” Geng said.
