Trump Tweet: A spoil-sport

It looks like President Trump is back to being angry with the sports community, sending a volley of tweets against Basketball and Football players. In between, he took a swipe at Jeff Flake's 'toast' comment and also called importing elephant trophies a 'horror show'.

🐦 Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!

Trump's social media director, Dan Scavino, fired back at Ball on his personal Twitter account Saturday afternoon, saying Ball's son, LiAngelo, "would be in China for a long, long, long time" without the President's assistance.

🐦 Sen. Jeff Flake(y), who is unelectable in the Great State of Arizona (quit race, anemic polls) was caught (purposely) on “mike” saying bad things about your favorite President. He’ll be a NO on tax cuts because his political career anyway is “toast.”

Flake's office responded late Sunday to Trump's assertion that he would vote 👎 against the GOP tax bill. "Senator Flake is still reviewing the tax reform bill on its merits," his spokesman, Jason Samuels, told CNN. "How he votes on it will have nothing to do with the President."

🐦 Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar. Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead. China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!

The Twitter storm was in response to former basketball player LaVar Ball's brushing off any role Trump had in his son's release from a Chinese prison. "Who? What was he over there for? Don't tell me nothing," Ball told ESPN on Friday. "Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out"❗

🐦 Big-game trophy decision will be announced next week but will be very hard pressed to change my mind that this horror show in any way helps conservation of Elephants or any other animal.

Trump strongly suggested he will permanently block imports ✋ of elephant trophies from two African nations despite his administration’s earlier approval of the practice.

🐦 Border Patrol Officer killed at Southern Border, another badly hurt. We will seek out and bring to justice those responsible. We will, and must, build the Wall!

A Border Patrol spokesman said the agency couldn't provide any details Sunday on what caused the agent's injuries or what led to them. But a spokesman said the FBI had taken over the investigation. Although the investigation is still preliminary, President Donald TTrump weighed in, vowing Sunday night that he will "seek justice."

🐦 Republican Senators are working very hard to get Tax Cuts and Tax Reform approved. Hopefully it will not be long and they do not want to disappoint the American public!

🐦 Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.
