The university of Ilorin Computer Based Test (CBT) exam centre was thrown into life once again after the first semester exams. Admission seekers were seen trooping in their numbers to get verified and proceed onwards for the examination. It was gathered by our correspondents, who were present at the venue that candidates came from within and without the city of Ilorin.
A guardian who accosted her ward to exam centre lamented the distance they had to travel for the exam. "We had to travel all the way from Omu-Aran just for this examination. There are no centres in the whole of omu-aran" lamented the guardian
She also registered her displeasure over the sloppiness that characterized registration process, " It has been strenuous and also hasn't been a smooth one" concluded Mrs Jubril.
Some of the candidates who were willing to speak with our reporters gave their general view of the exercise;
Candidate A:
"I didn't face any challenge during my exams,everything went smoothly.The systems were very reliable,the duration of time was also okay as i was able to finish my exams completely."
However, it seemed Ajayi Abdulazeez had a different experience during the exams. In his words, he said; "My exams was okay and smooth.The only issue i experienced was the issue of about three -four candidates who were not computer literate and were having difficulty in operating the system."
Both candidates were optimistic about the outcome of the examination exercise. As at 3:50pm, candidates were seen stepping out of the centre in trickles.
